The Problem

A strong service with an underdeveloped presence

Nyla Artistry had built trust through service quality, but the website and supporting material did not reflect that standard. The experience felt generic, mobile navigation was weak, and service information lacked clarity.

The wider brand system also needed consistency, especially across booking, aftercare, and print touchpoints.

Design Thinking

Balancing personality with clarity

User Research
Most traffic arrived from Instagram on mobile, so the experience had to prioritise fast scanning, easy service selection, and a direct route into booking.
Mobile-First Priority
The booking journey and service structure were designed mobile-first rather than reduced from desktop.
Brand Balance
The final palette used warm orange, muted sage, soft stone, honey gold, and rich brown to feel premium, feminine, and recognisably Nyla.
My Role

Full scope, from strategy to rollout

01
Discovery & Brand Direction
Defined the studio position, clarified the audience, and set a more elevated visual direction.
02
Website UX & UI Design
Restructured the site around service clarity, mobile usability, and a simpler booking path.
03
Illustrated Policy Guide
Created a custom illustrated guide to make policies and care instructions easier to understand and remember.
04
Brand Collateral & Print
Extended the identity into flyers and branded cards so the full client journey felt connected.
Website

Website Experience

The website redesign gave Nyla Artistry a more polished and trustworthy digital presence. The focus was on clearer treatment information, better hierarchy, and a cleaner path from discovery to booking.

The final direction paired the actual Nyla palette with Cormorant and Raleway to make the brand feel elegant, feminine, and more established without losing usability on mobile.

Illustrated Policy & Aftercare Guide

The custom illustrated guide turned policy and aftercare information into something clients would actually read. Instead of dense text, the information was reframed through a playful pop-art style that stayed on-brand and easy to absorb.

This added personality to the identity while reducing confusion around deposits, cancellations, preparation, and aftercare.

Brand Collateral & Print Design

The supporting print pieces extended the Nyla identity beyond the website and helped make the client experience feel more cohesive across digital and physical touchpoints.

Clean layout, refined typography, and QR-linked booking collateral made the materials feel premium while still practical.
